100 Days Working for Howdon

It’s now 100 days since I was elected to represent Howdon Ward, and I wanted to share a quick update on some of the work I’ve been doing.

I’ve been holding flexible ward surgeries, carrying out regular walkabouts and visiting residents at home where needed. I’ve also been raising issues around road safety, uneven kerbs, overgrown trees, fly-tipping and anti-social behaviour, working directly with council teams to get problems addressed.

I work full-time alongside my council role, so I make sure my ward work fits around those commitments and remains accessible to residents at different times and locations.

The first 100 days are only the beginning. I’ll keep working to make Howdon cleaner and safer for all of us.
